Assassin’s Creed Mirage is the latest installment in the popular Assassin’s Creed franchise. The game is set in 9th-century Baghdad, during the anarchy at Samarra. This means that the game takes place a few decades before the events of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, which is set in 873-879 AD.

The year 861 is considered to be a golden age for Baghdad, as it was a time of great prosperity and cultural innovation. The city was a major center of trade and learning, and it was home to a diverse population of Muslims, Christians, and Jews.

Assassin’s Creed Mirage will follow Basim Ibn Ishaq, a character who was first introduced in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. In Mirage, Basim will be a young man who is just beginning his journey as an Assassin. He will need to learn the skills of stealth and combat in order to fight against the Templar Order, who are trying to take control of Baghdad.

The game will feature a new gameplay mechanic called “Mirage,” which allows Basim to create illusions that can be used to distract or confuse his enemies. Mirage will also feature a new parkour system that allows Basim to traverse the rooftops of Baghdad with ease.
